Dr. Albert Lai, Medical Director
Dr. Albert Lai, Medical Director for B Beautiful Med Spa in Laguna Hills, CA, is a southern Californian native. Dr. Lai completed his medical training at Tufts University where he subsequently served as a clinical instructor. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and also holds board certifications in Pain Medicine and Independent Medical Examiners. He is serving as the managing partner at the offices of Desert Pain & Rehabilitation Associates based in Rancho Mirage for the past 8 years, is the medical director of Centers of Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine in Placentia.
Dr. Lai’s professional interests include interventional pain management, neuro-musculoskeletal disorders, electro-diagnostics, and last but not least industrial and occupational rehabilitation. Salma, Nurse Practitioner
Salma, Nurse Practitioner, provides health and medical care for a diverse population in a variety of primary care, acute and long-term care settings.
Salma received her Bachelor of Science in Health from The University of North Florida in 1996, and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in 2002. While holding the charge nurse preceptor/educator to new nurses in the Emergency Department, Salma returned to school to achieve a higher education with a Masters in Science with a focus in Family Nurse Practitioner, from Georgetown University, graduating in 2006. After her graduation, Salma moved across the county to be close to her parents and extended family in Southern California. She has been in Orange County since and has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner providing extensive interdisciplinary knowledge base and working with people from birth to old age with specialties including Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Behavioral Health and Addiction Medicine.
Salma truly finds happiness when she is making a positive difference in other people’s lives. She is driven to provide the best patient experience by providing compassionate personalized care, quality pre-procedure education, attention to detail and exceptional customer service.
Ramona, RN
Ramona, RN, is our aesthetic nurse specialist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) at the St. Francis University of Nursing in Joliet, IL, in 2010. After graduating, she moved to Studio City, CA, to launch her career in medical spa treatments. She quickly fell in love with the concept of providing non-invasive beauty procedures to bring out each patient’s inner confidence. In a short amount of time, she has treated thousands of clients in her chosen field of specialty and was quickly recognized for her talent. Beyond her clinical expertise, Ramona’s greatest talent is her ability to recognize each patient’s natural beauty and help each individual achieve a youthful and natural look. Ramona’s clients benefit from her extensive hands-on injection treatment experience with a gentle clinical approach, precise and natural results. Her commitment to continuing education keeps her at the top of her field. Ramona believes that honesty, empathy and patient satisfaction are the most important tools in fostering strong patient relationships.
Melanie, RN
Melanie, RN, BSN, is our newest addition to the B Beautiful Med Spa team. She has always had a love for aesthetics and originally wanted to be a cosmologist to make people feel good about themselves. After life events, Melanie became inspired to help people in a deeper aspect and give back to society. In 2009, she began her nursing career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) and worked with the geriatric community. Then in 2019, Melanie accomplished her goal of becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) and worked in the medical field throughout the pandemic. Simultaneously, she attended nursing school and achieved her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and switched gears to work in Beverly Hills specializing in Plastic Surgery. In recent years, Melanie moved from Los Angeles to Orange County to gain experience at outpatient surgery centers. Missing utilizing her creative side, she set out to accomplish her long-time desire of being an aesthetic nurse injector. Now coming full circle, Melanie finds herself integrating her talents in cosmetics with her desire to help people, while setting her sight on her next goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
Fabrianne, RN
Fabrianne, RN, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) from the California State University of San Bernardino. Upon graduation, she joined Hoag Memorial in Newport Beach, CA, as a full-time Nurse in the Advanced Brain and Spine Unit. “Fab” as she is affectionately known by family and friends, is passionate about women’s beauty, and about the tremendous impact that feeling and looking beautiful can have on women’s self-confidence as they travel through their unique journeys of personal growth. Her love for aesthetics and career as a cosmetic nurse started four years ago, and she has since garnered various skills including being a Certified Candela Practitioner for Laser Hair Removal, Micro-Needling, Hydrafacials, Sublative Ablation Therapy, IPL, and Injections. In addition to possessing the requisite skills, Fab’s patience and commitment to meeting each woman’s unique needs allows her to effectively work with a diverse category of patients. Her extensive knowledge in skincare and beauty has consistently contributed to excellent results, and her dedication and devotion is driving her to further build that knowledge and skillset by pursuing a master’s degree, thus increasing her value and impact to both her clients and the cosmetic nursing industry as a whole.
Devan, Esthetician
Devan, licensed esthetician, received her training at Bellus Academy in Poway, San Diego. Her love for skincare started 2 years before she received her license, working at Glen Ivy Hot Springs to learn the different spa treatments and familiarize herself with all of the facial services. After graduating, she pursued her career as an esthetician and worked at Massage Envy to expand her skills and knowledge. With 3 plus years of professional experience, Devan is passionate about skincare and the concept of “not reversing the clock,” but aging gracefully and with confidence. She specializes in skin condition specific facials, combining the benefits of enzymes, vitamins, minerals, hyaluronic acids, safe chemical peels to layered, medical grade chemical peels, and incorporating goal oriented results, while also offering the relaxation and pampering of a classic spa facial. Devan’s goal is to make clients feel as comfortable as possible and educate them on their skin concerns. Shayna, RN
Shayna, RN, grew up in Orange County, CA, where she met her high school sweetheart, now husband Taylor, and have two young children, Riley and Brayden. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) from Chamberlain University and started her nursing profession at CHOC Children’s Hospital, where she is still currently a pediatric nurse. Despite having a huge heart for the pediatric population and loving her role working bedside there, she always had an interest in aesthetic nursing. Shayna started as a B Beautiful Med Spa client and loved the vibe of everyone working here and the top notch customer service she received. Once she saw an opening, she applied and has been with BBMS since September 2021. She has enjoyed learning the industry, interacting with clients and sharing life stories. Shayna has a true gentle bedside manner and is so excited to grow in her role at BBMS.
Geneva
Geneva, born and raised in Southern California, has always had a love for aesthetics and the beauty industry. After studying Psychology at Pepperdine University, she moved to Nashville in 2015 to pursue creative endeavors. Missing the Orange County beaches and sunshine, she moved back in early 2021, and has been with B Beautiful Med Spa ever since. Geneva brings a positive, uplifting and enthusiastic, yet focused work ethic to the office. She is always ready to greet clients at the front with a happy and fun demeanor, but also honest and straightforward to suggest products and treatments that she feels would suit clients and their beauty needs best. She wants to help people feel their greatest by adding just a touch to their beautiful selves. Her natural and conservative approach to aesthetic aligns with many of the other staff and providers here, who she calls her ‘one big, happy family.’ She hopes our clients never hesitate to reach out and ask her questions regarding any of our services and products. Geneva loves music, bringing people together and getting to know the clientele. She looks forward to seeing you at your next visit!
Sahar, RN
Sahar was our sweet and friendly receptionist covering the front desk. Now that she finished nursing school, passed her National Exam, she is our sweet and friendly Registered Nurse! She is a conscientious worker, who will happily answer all of your questions, and make sure your visits are pleasant and positive. Sahar completed nursing school at West Coast University and is excited to see what the future holds for her as a nursing professional. She loves the idea of enhancing everyone’s natural beauty and believes aesthetic nursing will be a rewarding career. In her free time, Sahar loves to spend time with her family and friends, enjoys going to the beach and spending time outside. We are super excited to have Sahar continue her career with us and fulfill her dreams of helping clients feel confident!

Meliza
Meliza, MSN, APRN, FNP, was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Her parents are from the Philippines and she is the first person in her family to pursue a medical career. Her interest in nursing began at the age of 16 when her father was diagnosed with leukemia. She spent a lot of time in the hospital and witnessed first-hand the love, care, and compassion the nurses gave her father and her family. The idea of being part of a profession that is focused on helping others was so fulfilling that she knew she wanted to be a nurse. The majority of her 12 years’ experience as a nurse comes from working in different hospital emergency rooms, but she always had an interest in dermatology. Her fascination with aesthetic nursing stems from having eczema since she was a child. Her struggles growing up with skin issues and how she overcame it, motivates her to give back and assist others build their self-confidence again. Meliza recently graduated from the Charles Drew University of Medicine and received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). She is excited for her future and expanded role as a Nurse Practitioner!
